Kneauxing the Enemy
Game Three
Northwestern State
Record: 0-2
Pay for Flay
This is a game where a Football Championship Subdivision (FCS) opponent (Northwestern State), visits a Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) opponent , LSU, to take a beating to pick up a paycheck. The FBS school pays the patsy so it will not have to visit the FCS school the following year.
The Demons have shown no inclination of being a competitive team this season. Their latest loss was a 33-7 pummeling to Midwestern State, a Division II school. They did not make a first down until their sixth possession in the game.
There is nothing to say about Northwestern, accept enjoy the payoff.
The following have a better chance of happening than NSU defeating the Purple and Gold:
1. A snowstorm in the Mojave Desert in mid-July.
2. A sighting of Dracula taking a stroll at high noon.
3. All LSU alumni chapters to discontinue crawfish boils.
4. The Saints trading Drew Brees for Les Miles.
Enough said.
